How do I easily change the automatically inserted slide number in Word from
Powerpoint presentation.

Hi,
Are you referring to the send to Word feature in PowerPoint. This gives you
a table with 3 columns, the first containing the slide number the second the
slide the third the slide notes. You want to change the numbers in that
first column?
