Printing error - canon copier
I am currently printing word docs from canon copier. I have set 2 printer
drivers from printer control setting (one from recycled paper tray and one from clean paper tray). The problem I am facing now is that even when i select the printing driver for the recycled paper, the output is printed from clean paper. When i asked the Canon help desk, i was told that Canon's printing preference is typically overwritten by Word printing preference. Is this true? Does it mean that I have to frequently adjust the Word page set up (paper source) setting every thing i decide to switch between recycled paper and clean paper??? This would be really frustrating if it is the case. |

Is it possible to do this without using macro/vba?
Page set up - paper source (should I select as auto? since this affects only the individual doc). Then I can use different printer drivers to determine which tray to print from? The problem i have right now is that..macro / vba may not help
There are more printing settings i require. E.g. Recycled tray - print one side, Normal tray - print double side. These aren't found in the file-page setup-paper source. You could install a second copy of the printer driver and configure one for
duplex the other for simplex. Then switch between them as required using the macro solution. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org confused wrote: The problem i have right now is that..macro / vba may not help There are more printing settings i require.
