Default Removing links to all linked objects

I have a report that links out to about 8 spreadsheets to provide updates on
all aspects of the project. Each month I want to generate a report showing a
static version of the charts as they are at the time.
Is it possible to update all linked components, and then do a save as,
removing the links and embedding the spreadsheet components into the newly
saved doc? This way the original is available for future upating and i have
a permanent record of where i was each month for the customer.

If you use Ctrl+A to select everything in the document and then use
Ctrl+Shift+F9, the fields in the document will be unlinked from their
source.

Hope this helps.

Thanks to you both. That Ctrl Shift F9 seems like a dangerous tool to me. I
might keep that one to myself and not spread it around to the monkeys with
machine guns in the office.
