Default Header and footer problems

Hello!
I am used Word 2007, and I am attempting to create a large document that has
one header on all of the odd pages with a different header on the even pages.
To further complicate things, I would like the right header to alternate
based upon which chapter it is. So basically, I' like this:
LEFT PAGE...................PGBREAK....................
.................RIGHT PAGE
Name of Book...............PG BREAK.............................Name of
Chapter
-----END HEADER-------...........................---------END HEADER------

A note on footers:
I want the introduction to be lower case roman numerals, and then regular
numbers resetting one the book begins. So far, no luck on this either.

I have search for these options in the edit footer/header panels, but with
word 2007, there are no drop down menus really so I am a bit lost on where to
find this information.

Thanks for the help!

Insert tab Header at the bottom choose Edit Header (don't use all
those pre-formatted headers -- they usually look awful). With your
cursor in a Header, the Ribbon switches to the Header Design tab, and
there you can choose "different first page" (so you can have no header
on the first page of a chapter, for instance, or put the page number
at the foot of the first page but the upper outside corners of the
other pages). Choose "Different Odd and Even,' and type your book
title in the Left (even) page header, insert the field STYLEREF in the
right (odd) page header and set it to capture the stylename you've
used for your chapter title. Each chapter needs to be a separate
section, so Insert Break Section New Page or Section New Right
Page before each chapter.

To get roman numbers in your front matter, use the Format Page Number
controls in the header of the first section. Go to the second
section's first header and deactivate "Same as Previous" or "Link to
Previous." Then you can go to Format Page Number and have it start at
1 and be arabic numbers.

Note that it is not necessary to unlink headers/footers just to restart
numbering or change the number format. It IS necessary to unlink them if you
want to omit a page number entirely from a given section.
