Default converting labels into access database

not sure if i'm posting in the right place.....i have a word document
containing labels that i want to export into an exisiting access database of
names and addresses.....i know how (or i've read how) to import information
from an excel spreadsheet into the database, but do not know how to do it
from word. do i need to convert the labels into a spreadsheet first? and if
so, how?
