Default Need help with cover letter

I would like to know if MS Word provides assistance with writing a cover
letter with emphasis on a career change? I have a dilema - I am a senior in
college majoring in Business Administration, however I wish to make a change
by working in a Social Service field. Mojority of organizations requires a
bachelor's degree in Social Services or similar to that in order to be
considered for a position.

Unfortunately, I don't have a degree in social work and have no job related
skills either. However, I wanted a cover letter that would persuade a hiring
manager to give the chance to learn this exciting new field. I am very
passionate about this field and unfortunately this new found desire came at a
time when I am near completing my Bachelor's Degree in Business and not in
Social Services.

Please advise me on how I can go about finding a cover letter that would
cover all those basis and allow me to express desire for this change.

Thanks in advance for your time!

This type of cover letter you need to write yourself based upon the
information and feelings you have about the situation. What makes you think
a pre-formed cover letter would have that information?

Hi Tom - I'm not looking for a letter that would have all that information, I
guess what I need is a template of a cover letter with emphasis on career
change. I need a format to start off with - any suggestions?

Thanks for the post.

What you want isn't "format". You're looking for words and that's outside of
the scope of this newsgroup. Perhaps you need to do some reading at
careerfinder.com, monster.com, or similar sites.
