Default how to start using speech recognition

i no you can say things in to a microphone but can it be typed as u say it by
microsoft word

In Word 2003, it's Tools | Speech.
It's possible the feature wasn't installed, so you may need your
installation disk.
You may want to check out the Help Topic, "Install and Train Speech
Recognition."

I'm looking for adaptive technology. How does speech
recognition work for someone with poor articulation?
