Default what kinds of cds do I use to save work?

I do not know what kinds of cds to use in my computer to save work and I do
not know how to save work once I have written my work.

Always save you work to your local hard drive. Then use the software that
came with your CD-Writer to create a CD backup. Personally, I always use
CD-Rs as they are now so cheap that using CD-RWs isn't worth the extra time
it takes to rewrite (rewriting a CD-RW is always much slower that just
writing to a new CD-R). If you are using Windows XP, it has its own CD
writing capability. Just open Windows Explorer and drag and drop files to
the CD drive. After a few seconds or so, Windows will pop up with a message
saying that files are ready to write to the CD - OK.
