Default read only

I am trying to send some of my documents to my cd-rw drive.
however, I always get that it is a read only file .I went
to properties on each document but the bottom half of the
properties is greyed out and you can't change the read
only hidden or anything else.

You need to copy the files back to your HDD and then select Properties and
remove the Read Only attribute. You cannot (and should not) try to save or
edit a document directly with a CD.
