Default How can I assign a created Word document template as the default ?

You can't make it assume the role of Normal.dot, if that's what you're
asking, but you can:

1. Make it the template used when Word is opened, either by adding a /t
switch to the shortcut used to start Word (see the Help topic "Control how
Word starts") or, more easily, by using a shortcut to the template to start
Word.

2. Make it the template used when you click the New button by creating a
macro that opens a new document based on your template and assigning it to
the New button.
