Default increasing image resolution in Word (MS Office XP)

Hi,

I use Microsoft Office XP. While writing a manuscript, I created some
bar graphs in Excel and imported them as images into Word. The
journal editor wants me to increase the resolution of the graphs. How
can I do that while keeping them in Word format?

thanks,
Jon

exactly how did you insert export/insert them into Word, and in what
form are you handing over your manuscript to the editor?
