Track Changes
I have read all through the help, the discussion groups, etc. and I still
can't find the answer to this question: Why does the document accept all changes except for the changes in the footer. I unprotect the document, accept all changes (It looks good at this point), protect the document (still looks good), save it and close. When I open it up again there are strike thrus on my page numbers in the footer. I have tried everything I know. I can only request that the changes NOT be seen, but they are still there. HELP! It is driving me crazy. I have over 100 protected documents this is happening to. |

I realize it is a change. But why does it not let me ACCEPT those changes?
The strike thrus go away once I unprotect the document. In other words-once I unprotect the document there are no changes to accept. I protect again, save, and close. When I open it up the strike thrus are back-they then go away once I unprotect the document. It will not let me accept changes while the document is protected. Any help in resolving this?
