Default Monotype Sorts

Hello There,

Is the Monotype Sorts font a standard font for Word or Excel (2000 to 2003)?

In other words does it come pre installed. If not do you have to purchase
this font - and how much does the licensing cost?

Thank You

The Monotype Sorts font is included at no extra cost with these products:
Access 97 SR2, Greetings 99, Home Publishing 99, Office 2000 Premium, Office
4.3 Professional, Office 97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office 97 SR1a,
PhotoDraw 2000, Picture It! 2000, Picture It! 2002, Picture It! 98,
Publisher 97, TrueType Font Pack

It appears that it doesn't come with Office XP or Office 2003, but it will
remain on the machine if you upgrade from Office 2000.

If you need to buy it, the cost is US$22 at
http://www.fonts.com/FindFonts/detail.htm?pid=205653.

Thanks for the response -

Do you know how the licensing works on a font like this?

Do you pay the $22 and then use freely as you wish - or is there an extra
cost - i.e per server cost. We currently are using a Citrix enviroment with 6
servers which would need the font installed on.

Thanks
Ryan

I don't have any direct knowledge of this. I suggest you visit
http://www.fonts.com/FontServices/LicensingOptions.htm and then
contact the company as described there, to discuss your specific
situation.
