I have many word documents that have bitmaps pasted inside, and I am
trying to determine if Word tracks this quality.

Is there some way to search for items like this (like in Outlook where
an attachment shows a paperclip) or is there some attribute these files
have ?

I don't know of any automatic tracking, but you could manually edit the
Comment field in the document properties to indicate that a file contains
graphics and then add the Comment field to the view in Windows Explorer.

Thanks, I have hundreds of them and so I was hoping there was an
add-in or some Macro that's been built that could sort it out so I
wouldn't have to look inside first.
