Default Access View is not available in Word mail merge

I created an Access table with a couple of views. The merge worked fine. I
later added a new view in Access. In Word I then changed the data source but
the new view does not appear.

Default

From the Tools menu in Word, select Options and then go to the General tab
and check the box against the "Confirm conversions at open" item. Then when
you attach the data source to the mailmerge main document, you will be given
a number of different options for the method in which the connection should
be made. The DDE option should give you access to your query.
