Unknown Page Marker
Word 2007.
I was typing a report when suddenly a dashed line of minute black squares appeared below the paragraph I was typing. At the end of the page, it remained and a second line appeared on the new page. I am unable to repeat it here as it appears to be embedded and can't be copied. When the curser is hovered over it, it shows the double line symbol as if allowing the line to be moved but I could not move it. I can find the type of line in the Insert menu (Shapes||Line||) but this line is not an insert. It will not highlight and I can't copy it or delete it. I have looked in the obvious places, - Page Break, Formatting, et al - but can't find any explanation. Can anyone enlighten me on this? TIA for any help. Ed |
