Default how do I eliminate line indents?

Office/Word insists on indenting all the lines of each paragraph except the
first line. How can I stop this unwanted indenting?

Default how do I eliminate line indents?

Sounds like you have applied a hanging indent. Have you looked at the ruler
or Format | Paragraph to fix it?
