Default separate page numbers for separate sections

How do I put page numbers in each section without affecting the other
sections of the document (Word 2007). For example, I do not want the cover
letter (section 1) title page and following blank page (section 2) to be
numbered but rest of document (sections 3 to 5) (74 pages) to be numbered
"Page 1 of 74", etc.

Thanks

And note that, since your Y is less than the total number of pages, you'll
need to use { = { NUMPAGES } -2 } instead of just { NUMPAGES }.
