In the old version of Word I was using (2003, I think), whenever I opened
Word, mis-spelled words would automatically be highlighted when typing into the blank document (e.g., "Document 1"). In Word 2007, I have to manually initiate the spell checker to get mis-spelled words to be highlighted (e.g., underlined with a squigly red line), even though I have the "Check spelling as you type" function enabled. How can I get Word 2007 to automatically highlight mis-spelled words in new (blank) documents? |
