Default Table of Figures

WindowsXP
Word 2003

I created a document that has 5 pictures labeled with "fig.1", "fig. 2". I
created the labels by "Insert, Reference, Caption".

I went to create a table of figures by "Insert, Reference, Index and Tables,
Table of Figures" and it generated but put each figure on the left of the
label.

I just want a list of each figure name and the page it is located on.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you in advance!

If your figure and caption are in the same paragraph, then the bookmark
created by the caption includes the figure itself. If you want the caption
beside the figure, try using a borderless two-cell table.
