Select the 2 and apply subscript formatting to it. The shortcut key is
Ctrl+= or you can use the Subscript check box in the Format Font
dialog.

Formatfontsubscript (Subscript is in the "Effects" section on the Font
dialog box....).
(Actually this DOESN'T put the "2" below the line, it puts it 1/2 way down,
but thats what you want I think....)
