Default Styles - Greyed Out / Can't Select All

Hi,
I have a multitude of styles set-up in my Normal.dot that I often import
into other documents. I used to be able to click the down arrow of a style
and choose "Select All...". Now, even though the style does exist, this
option is greyed out.

Further, when selecting what to show (Show, custom) the options under "Show
Clear Formatting" are greyed out.

These problems are also in the Normal.dot (not just other docs that use it).
How do I get these options back?

TIA

To enable those things, you have to go to Tools Options General and
check the option for "Keep track of formatting".

That may also enable the linked-style "Char Char Char" bug, so I'd advise
leaving the option unchecked until you need it.

The setting is actually on the Edit tab of Tools | Options.
