Default formtext in word 2003

Hi , i'm trying to make a template for a company letter and i have to
put 2 formtext fieldcodes in one line ( one for the first adress line ,
to the left , and one for the letter's refference number , to the right
). What i want is that when i insert text in the first field ( the one
to the left ) , the second field doesn't move to the right and
subsequently down . Any help would be much appreciated . I suspect that
i have to do something with the field to the right , i.e. a switch to
the formtext or something .

Also, look into macrobutton fields instead of form text fields unless you
really want to lock all the rest of your contents. See
http://www.addbalance.com/usersguide...tm#MacroButton and
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/TblsFl...acroButton.htm for more
about macrobutton fields.
