What is GB bytes
About 1 billion bytes. A gigabyte(GB) is used as a measure for RAM or disk
capacity. One gigabyte equals 1,024 MB, which is 1,024 KB, which is 1,024 bytes. A byte is a single character in a text document. A great source for decyphering all those confusing acronyms: www.netlingo.com "GB bytes." wrote: Capacity of Bytes. What is GB means? How much bytes is 1 GB.? |

Then, 1Gb = 1,000,000,000 Similarly, 1K=1024 in the IT industry unless you're talking salary, where 1K=1000 -- Steve Swift http://www.swiftys.org.uk/swifty.html http://www.ringers.org.uk |
