Default How do I add the #'s in a row or column of a table?

In Word 07, how do I add the numbers that are set forth in a row or column of
a table?

The appropriate method depends on what kind of numbers you want, and
what you want to do with them... If they are for display, only, you can
apply a numbered style to the appropriate column or row.

On the other hand, if you want (fixed) numbers which can also be used in
cell calculations, do this: generate the numbers in Excel, copy the
cells, and then paste them (as unformatted text) into the relevant
column or row.
