So you are saying if you go to Insert/Object "Microsoft Excel
Worksheet" is not in the list? Do you have Excel installed?

When i copy an excell file then i open the Word , paste special , paste as an excell woksheet no message appears in fact nothing happens at all.

Hi ?B?R3JhbmRwYXBhcw==?=,

From the sound of it, I'd say you have third-party software that's
interfering with Word. The Norton Anti-virus Office Plugin would be an
example. It could also be something that manages files on your system.

If you start Windows in SAFE MODE does the problem persist?
