Whenever I highlight a document or word/paragraph to copy and then paste, the
paste side appears as an 'a' on the new page or in the new document.

Help is urgently needed as I type quite a lot of repetative documents.

So... if you were to select "this is text", copy it to the clipboard, and
then paste it elsewhere in a Word document, just the letter "a" appears,
rather than "this is text"? Is that what you're saying?

What version of Word is this?
