Default document saved into temporary internet files

I opened a word doc from msn e-mail and saved it without hitting save as or
choosing the directory.

Is there a way to recover the document in the temporary internet files?

Possibly, if you haven't closed Word in the meantime, you can select it from
the MRU list at the bottom of the File menu and then Save As to a document
folder.
