Instead of just saying you can't print, a few details would be helpful. For

can't print labels
Your writing style is a bit difficult to follow so please let me see if I
understand. You have a document (labels) that you've printed in the past. You've changed this document to blk only and now it doesn't print. You can print other "black and white" documents. This document will no longer print regardless of color. The paper just feeds straight thru. Did I get it straight? Silly question - you didn't manage to turn all of the text to hidden text, did you? That would cause the exact problem you're talking about. Highlight some of the text. Look under Format - Font - is Hidden checked? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "roger" wrote in message ... sorry, i thought that it was supposed to be concise. this is a last resort. okay, i have labels setup that i have printed several timessame labelssame printerit prints off other "color" documentsi changed this to blk/whit just feeds the sheet straight thru w/o any printcannot print the same word doc. on a plain piece of paperit prints other docs-blk/wh/colorjust these labels it will not printcolor or blk/whtried to change many things one at a timenot a bunch at oncei have a pretty fair knowledge of m/s officejust has me stumped. thanks joann! roger "JoAnn Paules [MSFT MVP]" wrote: Instead of just saying you can't print, a few details would be helpful. can't print labels
no that wasn't it. but when i came into work this morning and set the printer
to print in color...it printed off correctly. so i went back and set it to print in blk/wh and it will not print off on a regular sheet of paper. i could do this same set of labels in blk/wh at one time. i so really perplexed by this issue. have any other thoughts. i checked the "hidden" that you referenced. it was okay. thanks joann "JoAnn Paules [MSFT MVP]" wrote: Your writing style is a bit difficult to follow so please let me see if I understand. Sometimes you just have to learn to shake your head and walk off muttering.
