Are you wanting to place acute accents and breves over syllables (ISTR
that's one way of doing it)? There's a Combining Acute Accent in the
Combining Diacritical Marks character subset of Insert | Symbol. For the
breve, you'll have to use an Overstrike field (see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Overbar.htm).
