Are you asking where to find the forms controls? They are on the Developer
tab, which is not displayed by default. To enable it, you must check the box
for "Show Developer tab in the Ribbon" at Office Button | Word Options |
Popular.

Default HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE DESIGN MODE ITSELF?

Dear Suzanne:

Thanks you for your help, but I already had carried out your instructions.
With the Design Mode, I used to get different colored horizontal stripes
showing up in the ribbon. What do I do to activate the Design Mode itself?

Okay, I think you're not referring to design mode for forms but the Table
Tools | Design contextual tab (which has striped Table Styles). To see that,
you must have the insertion point in a table. Also, if you have the Ribbon
minimized, double-click on any tab to un-minimize it.

Thanks Suzanne:

I accidentally found out how to get Table Tools, my inserting a table, then
placing my cursor inside, so that Table Tools shows up automatically.
