Default Problem with bullets in Word 2007

I'm having a problem with bullets in Word 2007 that is driving me insane. I
have two items in a list and I just want each one to be preceded by a bullet.
However, Word insists on inserting a third bullet at the beginning of one of
the lines, even though it is not a new paragraph; it's just the text that ran
over from the previous line.

Here is a link to an image that shows what I'm talking about:
tinypic.com/view.php?pic=98c5yp&s=4. The problem is that there is a bullet in
front of "Dig". But "Dig" is just another in a series of terms separated by
commas. It's not a new paragraph, so it should appear without a bullet like
the line above it ("to verify functionality...").

Thanks in advance for any help.

I cannot see from the screen shot what is causing the problem, but if you
want to send me a copy of the document, I will take a look at it.

Hope this helps.

Are you sure there is not a paragraph break at the end of each line? Display
nonprinting characters (Ctrl+*) to check.

There is no paragraph break at the end of the line. I included a URL in my
original post that shows a screenshot with nonprinting characters turned on.
Thanks anyway.

I would have looked at your picture if the URL had been clickable. If I
paste it into my browser I get a page that offers to sell me things. I had
about given up before I found your actual picture, which I find ambiguous.

Delete everything but the two paragraphs the screen shot of which you posted
to that website and send that to me.
