Default How do I make a font one color and the shadow another color?

I am trying to make a font green with the outline purple. Could anyone help
with this please?

That sounds garish and it's not possible with Word. Use a graphics app to
create the text and insert the resulting image.

If you are not trying to enter entire sentences, and only want to do this
with a word or two...or three - use WordArt. You can set the colors in that
to have a different colored outline. If that doesn't work, go out on the net
and do a search for 'outlined fonts' and you probably will find one.

You can actually choose not only the fill color and line color but also the
shadow color for WordArt.
