Save Document Prompt When No Changes Have Been Made
We are opening Word attachments from Outlook by double-clicking on the
attachment and choosing "Open". The document is opened in the temporary Internet files folder. After reading the Word document and making no changes, we close the document and Word is prompting with the "Do you want to save the changes to DocumentName" message, even though no change was made to the document. We are using Outlook 2003 SP3 and Word 2003 SP3. Is there a reason for this and is there a way for us to stop the prompt. Many thanks, Allison Orange Systems Project Consultant Florida Public Service Commission |
