Default Pasting in phrases

What's the best way to paste in phrases? I'm a teacher/editor and need the
quickest way to paste in "comma splice," "spelling error," etc. Any
one-stroke or two-stroke ways to paste in a specific phrase?

Howdy,

The specifics may depend on the version you use, but...

Look in the help file for "AutoText."

That's the tool you want.

All the best,

I'd suggest AutoCorrect. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/AutoCorrect.htm.

You could also use AutoText, but for short phrases, AutoCorrect is simpler.
