Normal.dot with no Adobe macros
How do I remove Adobe macros from Normal.dot
I could have a template that has all that stuff in it in my templates directory, but most of the time, I want a clean document without that stuff. Thanks, James |

Close Word, find and delete Normal.dot. It will be recreated with the
defaults when you reopen Word. Normal dot is a a hidden file, so adjust your search accordingly. Adobe's macros are not in normal.dot, so that won't help - see
http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adob...at_toolbar.htm In any case - never delete normal.dot. Rename it to (eg) oldnormal.dot then you will not lose what may be years of customisations. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Mary wrote: Close Word, find and delete Normal.dot.
