Puzzling border in table cells
Hi,
I'm using MS Word 2007 and inherited a file created with an earlier version. It's laid out as a 2 column by 5 row table for business cards, and the columns have a left-hand border with a heavy line and hairline, and I can't figure out how to change the border or the color of it. It doesn't show as a border in the table or cell settings. I'm stymied. I'd be glad to send someone a copy of the file. Help? Thanks, TM |

Puzzling border in table cells
A cell border wouldn't be useful for business cards, since the cell
boundaries are the card boundaries. Most likely the borders have been applied to the the cell contents (that is, a paragraph border rather than a cell border). Alternatively, they might be actual drawing lines. -- Suzanne S.
