Number Alignment on Headings
In some documents I see that the the header numbers are aligned inside
the page margin. For others, the numbers are aligned with the period just outside the margin. What controls this? |

Number Alignment on Headings
The Heading Style formatting. Some must have an outdent paragraph attribute
applied (that is negative indent setting). Click in the affected Heading and move the indents on the Ruler. When you have the correct alignment again, right-click on the Style and select Update to match the selection. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP wrote in message ...
