how do I insert numbers down the right hand side?
I am trying to make a numbered list with the numbers running down the right
hand side of the page rather then the left. Is there any way of doing this other then typing in the numbers? EX: word 1. word 2. etc.... Normal 1. word 2. word etc.. |

You could create a multi-column document or a table and put your numbered
items in the right-most column. If you don't want these numbers to interact with the main text, they could be put into a text box, a header or footer, or a variety of other devices. What method you choose will depend on exactly what you're trying to accomplish. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Please respond in the newsgroups so everyone can follow along. http://www.herbtyson.com "Jack" wrote in message ...
