Unprotected document
Hi
I have downloaded a blank application form that I need to complete and there are grey araes where I type the text in. There is not enough room or space to do this and I have contacted the company and they have informed me that I need to 'unprotect the document' by going on tools etc. I am using Word 2007 and there is no tools function so does anyone know how I can get rid of these grey bits and type freely on the doc. Many thanks |

Many thanks On the Review tab of the ribbon, the Protect Document button is at the right end. Click it to open the Protect Document task pane. At the bottom of the pane, click the Stop Protection button. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
