Default How to protect the footnote with password?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to protect the footnote with
password? so other people cannot change it.

Default How to protect the footnote with password?

Check out the Help on Protecting a document from unauthorised changes and
specifically about protecting certain sections and not others.
Then ensure that your Footnote Indicator and Footnote Reference are within a
protected section.
You cannot protect just the Footnote area.

Does this have something to do with the copyright question you asked
earlier? If so then forget it. *Any* document that you allow someone to open
can be edited. You can merely make it a little more difficult to do so. If
copyright of your documents is to become an issue, then seek the advice of a
lawyer specialising in copyright, as there are plenty of things that you can
do to preserve your copyright that don't involve trying to achieve the
impossible.
