Microsoft Excel Objects
If I paste the spreadsheet section as HTML the fomatting for the text rows
and columns changes. I need for them to remain the same and pasting them in as an Excel object retains the formatting and allows editing. The downside is depending upon the size of the Excel object your Word document can get huge quickly. Is there any way to convert the Excel object back to HTML and retain the formatting, or is there a better way to do this altogether? |

Microsoft Excel Objects
In what way different? Paste as Bitmap will produce an exact copy and in my
own tests the HTML version is identical. Excel Object shows some differences with font outlines. Paste any of them as a link and you can edit the original Excel file and the results will be reflected in the Word document. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org UlvaZell wrote: If I paste the spreadsheet section as HTML the fomatting for the text rows and columns changes.
