What is the difference between a template and a protected word doc
We are trying to letters and forms, etc., for our field offices to use so we
are using consistent documents throughout the agency. We want to have some form fields that the field offices can fill in to customize to their office. What are the advantages/disadvantages to using a template versus the advantages/disadvantages of using a protected word document? |

This is what templates are designed for. A protected document is what you
end up with if you start from a protected form template. "DD" wrote in message ...
