Default Word shutsdown after adding Spanish Language

Hi,

I want to be able to check my spelling in spanish. I add
the spelling checking option via the Tools, Language bar.
I am able to add the language, and set it as a default,
but when i highlight text and click on spell check word
just shutsdown without any warning.

Does anyone have any idea why this might happen i am using
Word 2000 with the latest update SR-1, office sp3.

Thanks for all your help

I'm having the same problem. It also shuts down if I select text and set
language to spanish for the text without ever getting to manually initiate
spellchecking. The MS Update web set has informed me that all the updates
are already installed (3/14/2005)
