Use Windows Search to find Winword.exe (you'll need to tell Windows to
include hidden and system files and folders in the search). When you find it, right-click and choose Create Shortcut. Drag the shortcut to the desktop or Quick Launch bar. -- Suzanne S. In addition to Suzanne's wonderful directions, you can also find Word on
your Start menu, right click, select Send To, and then pick Desktop (create shortcut). Both ways get you the shortcut you want. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "fredled" wrote in message news wanting a shortcut on my desktop to click on if possible to access the program quicker. forgot how to do this. thanks for your help in advance. |
