You can force Word to comply using conditional fields
{Mergefield field1}{IF {Mergefield field2} "" " {Mergefield field2}"}{IF {Mergefield field3} "" " {Mergefield field3}"}etc -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Tina wrote: when setting up a merge, I have selected that all blank lines should not be printed, but they are. Are you using the "address block"? Don't. Insert the individual merge fields
instead. ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "Tina" wrote in message ... when setting up a merge, I have selected that all blank lines should not be printed, but they are.
