adding and removing anchors
Hello, does anyone know how to remove an anchor from Word? Thanks for any help.

Objects in the drawing layer are always anchored to a text paragraph. The
only way to "remove" the anchor is to make a graphic inline. If you just don't want to *see* the anchor, then clear the check box on the View tab of Tools | Options. -- Suzanne S. To remove those anchors, you delete the object.
