I have a long footnote. Is there a way to insert a break, so as to make part of it appear on the next page?

Thanks for your reply.
The only solution I have found so far is to control the amount of space available to the footnote by inserting images and page breaks in the text area. If text and images fill most of the page, the footnote has no option but to carry over onto the next page. It would presumably be possible to insert a blank image or text box, if blank space was desired. |
