Default Prints Wrong Character

Using Word SP3, Win XP Pro SP2:
For the same document some punctuation marks and symbols do not display or
print the same on different PCs (one PC is correct and the other prints odd
letters and characters for "" , bullet symbols, and degree symbol. Fonts
and language setup are the same on both PCs. What else might this be.

Is it possible that this document was created in WordPerfect, or at some point
was edited in WordPerfect? Those symptoms usually point to a document that uses
the WP Typographic Symbols font or other WP font. See

Thanks for your reponse. Some pieces of the probably document originated in
Wordperfect or was edited on a machine that had Wordperfect fonts. I
searched for WP Math A font which has been a problem in the past and replaced
with MS Word New Times Roman but still have the problem with some PCs and not
others. I will double check that all Wordperfect fonts have been removed but
I still don't understand why document work on some machines and not others
even if the fonts on each machine are identical.
