Default Metadata Removal

There are a number of products that claim Word 2007's meta data
removal tools does not remove all the metadata.

Its there metadata that it does not actually remove?

Depends on how you define 'metadata'. There is indeed a whole bunch of
information left in the document, but nothing you can be identified by.

Some of things that are left behind a
- creation date (dublin core)
- last modified date (dublin core)
- program you created the document with ('Microsoft Office Word' unless
you used something else)
- version of the program you created the document with ('12.0000' if you
used Word 2007)
- editing time
- some unused styles might still be defined within the document
- a set of possible revision ids (not used in the document, but they could
indicate a common ancestor document)
- the name of the custom template you use for your bibliographies if you
have a custom one (if it is named faceman28208.xsl, they might trace it back
to you)
